Zachary Quigg and Blair Bickel — 30 Under 40 2026

When Zachary Quigg and Blair Bickel joined Aqua Paradise in 2021, both had plenty to learn about hot tubs. Five years later, the skills they picked up in the field have taken them in different but complementary directions.

Quigg started as a service technician without knowing how a spa worked. Training from Jacuzzi and experienced co-workers helped him build the technical foundation he now uses as service and install coordinator, overseeing work involving hot tubs, cold plunges and saunas.

“Learning how everything worked while being new on the job was tough at first,” Quigg says.

Bickel was also taught through hands-on service, repairing and cleaning spas alongside more experienced technicians. Today, as warehouse manager, he combines that knowledge with responsibility for Aqua Paradise’s e-commerce and technical support for online customers.

Both see opportunities to make spa ownership easier by giving customers better information.

For Quigg, that starts with routine maintenance.

“We get so many customers [where] many of the issues they have could have been prevented by draining the spa regularly,” Quigg says.

From the parts side, Bickel sees a similar information gap when customers or technicians are trying to keep older spas running.

“I would like to see more accessibility to technical documents and better documentation for replacing old parts,” Bickel says.

Their goals reflect the different directions their careers have taken. Quigg wants to continue developing his technical and management knowledge. Bickel hopes to help build what he describes as “the most successful online Jacuzzi/Sundance spa parts business in the country.”

For both, however, some of their most meaningful accomplishments come back to the customer. Bickel values having satisfied customers request him for future visits, while Quigg points to helping install a hot tub for a Make-A-Wish recipient.

“What a great experience to work on a spa and set up a new tub for someone in need,” Quigg says.

Away from work, Bickel DJs and attends concerts and enjoys disc golf and video games. Quigg spends his free time outdoors, mountain biking or hiking. He is a self-described “car nerd” and spends his weekends at car shows or watching racing.
