Dana Hyde

When it was time for Dana to go back to work after being a stay-at-home mom for a few years, her husband, who owned a transport business and was selling refurbished spas on the side, proposed the idea of opening a store. From there they started their refurbishing business, and have grown into a high-end boutique style store. Dana has helped grow the business with her experience in customer service and her online talent. She takes care of everything social, web and marketing among many other tasks at CK Spas. She is also lucky enough to incorporate her passion for photography with the business. Every year, she captures stunning images of customers’ spa set-ups, providing CK Spas with gorgeous images for their site and social media.

Jeff Claypool

Jeff Claypool opened his first retail store with his dad in 1981, when the two began a pool supply, service and repair shop. By 1982, they had added their first portable spas, and with the addition of the Hot Spring brand soon launched into the spa business full time. Tens of thousands of spa sales later, the company is thriving in the Southern California market. Claypool’s sons, Garett and Spencer, joined the business after they graduated college in 2014. Claypool claims he never intended to bring his boys into the business, but their instinct, enthusiasm and ambition made them a perfect fit. Between his sons and their sister, Ricci (not in the business) and soon-to-be six grandchildren, Claypool and Karyn, his wife and business partner, never have a dull moment.

Brooke Rossi

Brooke Rossi joined her family business in 2005 after getting her degree in kinesiology, intending to go back to school to become a physical therapist. However, she made a career out of DesRochers and in 2016 bought the business from her parents with her older brother Brian. Her father Michael, who did concrete construction, had built the family a swimming pool, but since they lived in a small town, her mom Michele started to buy their chemicals in bulk. Eventually she started selling them to neighbors who also didn’t want to make the long drive for chlorine. Michelle asked her husband if she sold a pool if he would build it. They started a swimming pool construction business and opened their first retail store in 1989. Even though DesRochers are pros at retail, hot tubs are still a relatively new category for them, bringing them in in 2018. Since then the company has slowly and steadily been integrating hot tubs and growing its hot tub team and sales.

Dave Wooldridge

Dave Wooldridge started Two Men and a Spa Dolly with his brother Dennis Wooldridge in 2003 as a part-time hot tub delivery service, partnering with local retailers to deliver spas on the weekends. The business grew to his full-time gig as they took on service work, warranties and refurbishments. Over the years, they added more services, including above-ground pool installations and in-ground pool service. In 2012, TMSD purchased two buildings on 13 acres, giving them room for an office, showroom, warehouse and service bays. In 2018, the company began selling new hot tubs as well.
