Apprentice of the year finalist announced

In September, Superior Wellness announced that Will Brooks, digital marketing apprentice, has been shortlisted as a finalist at the Love Chesterfield Awards on Oct. 12 at the Winding Wheel in Chesterfield, U.K.

According to the hot tub and spa manufacturer, Brooks began his digital marketing level 3 apprenticeship with Superior Wellness in October 2021, through the Baltic apprenticeship

The company says this has been his first job in an office environment, adding that Brooks, 18, has been an integral part of the company’s marketing team during a particularly busy year.

“Due to two team members leaving, Will took on additional responsibilities, whilst ensuring he kept up to date with his apprenticeship work,” says Sarah Elphick, head of marketing at Superior Wellness, and the person who had first nominated Brooks.

“He really is an asset, and we are delighted to have him in the team,” she continues. “We are looking forward to continuing helping him develop, and we hope he continues his career here after he has completed the apprenticeship.”

In a statement, Brooks appeared excited about the opportunity.

“Firstly, I would like to thank my line manager, Sarah, for being so supportive towards me and my apprenticeship, and constantly providing me with constructive feedback, allowing me to improve and strive forwards within my work,” Brooks says. “However, I definitely feel without the great team I have surrounding me, that I wouldn’t have succeeded so well within my role. Overall, I’m very happy and pleased to be in the final for Apprentice of the Year and can’t wait for the awards night.”
