Olympic Hot Tub Kicks Off Ninth Annual Founder’s Event
Olympic Hot Tub’s Founder’s Event honors founders Alice Cunningham and Blair Osborn and their legacy of giving. This year, for its ninth annual event, Olympic Hot Tub is raising funds for Food Lifeline, a nonprofit organization with a mission to feed people experiencing hunger today while working to end hunger for tomorrow.
“Alice and Blair, both brilliant businesspeople, were passionate about a number of worthwhile causes. They shared a concern about the importance of ending hunger in our region,” says Don Riling, president of Olympic Hot Tub. “We are so pleased to help Food Lifeline.”
During October, Olympic will donate a portion of each saltwater Hot Spring Spa, Endless Pools swim spa, Freeflow Spa and Tylo Sauna sale toward the Founder’s Event goal of $18,000. This donation will continue Food Lifeline’s work of investing in community-led hunger solutions.
In addition to raising funds, each Olympic showroom will be collecting nonperishable food items, which Food Lifeline will distribute to area food banks around each of Olympic’s eight locations.
Olympic encourages community members to donate directly to Food Lifeline.
“Our company has always been focused on the health and wellness of our customers — one of the reasons we’ve adopted ‘Better You…Better Life’ as Olympic’s mantra,” Riling says. “This is not limited to our physical beings but includes the health and vibrancy of our community.”
