When you think of a hot tub retailer who does construction, you assume that means they build pools. But Keith Wingfield got into the business of building backyards, which lead him to an interesting niche in the hot tub industry.

“We started out about 35 years ago subcontracting backyard construction,” Wingfield says. “I was a school teacher looking for supplemental income in the summertime. It just developed over the years…[to] where the business was at a point that I either had to stop teaching for a while and pursue business or stop the business and pursue teaching.”

Wingfield chose to continue to pursue his business and the more construction he did, the more requests he had to build structures that were suitable for hot tubs. This led him to eventually sell hot tubs and open a retail store. “We give people a confident feeling that we will help them select the spa that best works in their use or setting,” Wingfield says. “Whether it’s in a room, in a backyard or on a patio, we do a lot of on-site evaluations. We can do their project from beginning to end, we can coordinate with other trades people, remodeling and backyard people to be sure the project works out with minimum concern and coordination for the customer.”
