Bullfrog Spas Celebrates 30 Years of Innovation
Bullfrog Spas is celebrating its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of product innovation, dealer network growth and expansion into new wellness categories.
Founded in 1996, the Utah-based manufacturer traces its origins to founder Dave Ludlow’s experience servicing hot tubs. According to the company, those early service calls inspired the development of the patented JetPak Therapy System, which replaced extensive fixed plumbing with interchangeable jetted seat backs designed to simplify service while giving customers customizable massage options.
Since introducing its first spas in 1997, Bullfrog has expanded its product lineup with the A Series, STIL, X Series, M Series and Swim Series, while growing its dealer network throughout North America and internationally. In 2020, the company opened a 286,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility in Herriman, Utah, to support continued growth.
Bullfrog has also expanded dealer support through its Power Per Square Foot retail success program, which provides training and resources in areas such as marketing, sales, inventory management and service.
More recently, the company has increased its international presence with expanded warehouse and distribution operations in Europe.
“Families and individuals everywhere are seeking ways to connect more meaningfully,” says CEO Dan Sjoblom. “We remain committed to our mission to Create Peaceful Lives and are grateful for the incredible work our team and dealer partners have done to bring that peace to families in backyards around the world.”
Looking ahead, Bullfrog says it plans to continue investing in personalized hydrotherapy, energy efficiency, simplified water care, product design and dealer support as it builds on its 30-year history.
