Former Spa Dealer and Industry Veteran Launches EZ Cover Clip

Former spa dealer Logan Dowson has introduced the EZ Cover Clip, a new spa cover accessory to prevent rear cover clip failures, a common issue for hot tub owners and service technicians.

Dowson, who spent nearly 10 years operating a hot tub dealership, says the product was developed in response to repeated customer complaints and service challenges.

“Rear cover clips were a constant problem,” Dowson says. “They break, customers struggle to reach them and once they fail, it often leads to cover damage or warranty complaints. After seeing this over and over again, I knew there had to be a better solution.”

The EZ Cover Clip has an accessible front-facing design that allows users to secure and release the spa cover without walking behind the hot tub, adding convenience and reducing the likelihood of clip breakage, the company says.

Dowson also launched the EZ Cover Clip Pro, which features a patented retracting mechanism intended to make opening the cover easier. Both models work with a range of spa brands.

“This is a product I wish I had when I owned my dealership,” Dowson says. “It’s simple, it solves a real problem and it gives retailers a practical add-on that genuinely improves the ownership experience.”

The EZ Cover Clip is designed, assembled and packaged in the U.S. It is available direct to consumers, with wholesale opportunities for spa retailers and service companies.
