Leisure Concepts, maker of the Smartop Spa Cover, is partnering with the national nonprofit Youth For Christ to give local children the chance to see an AMA Supercross race. Youth For Christ aims to serve marginalized youth living in under-resourced communities with the message of hope and love found in Christ.

Smartop Spa Cover is the main sponsor of the Smartop/Bullfrog Spas/MotoConcepts/Honda Supercross race team. Working with local YFC ministries, 20 young people attended four Supercross races in Seattle, Houston, Nashville and Denver in 2019. The teens visited the pit area where the teams and riders are housed for the event, met the Smartop/Bullfrog Spas/MotoConcepts/Honda riders, toured the team’s racing truck, had a catered lunch with the team and participated in a track walk in addition to watching the race.

Leisure Concepts president and owner, Mike Genova, has been a supporter of the local Spokane, Washington, chapter of YFC for years. He saw this VIP experience as an opportunity to support teens who have welcomed God into their lives through the YFC program and to give them with an experience that will provide a lasting memory.

“Such an event is much more than entertainment,” says Andre Lewis, executive director of YFC. “It’s a concrete and definite reminder that God loves these kids, that He sees them and has not forgotten them. He wants to use them. And just perhaps, this event sparked an interest in motocross, mechanics or marketing. We are so grateful to Mike and the entire MotoConcepts team.”
