MasterSpas Marks 30 Years of Manufacturing Leadership

MasterSpas is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, marking three decades of domestic manufacturing, product innovation and industry leadership.

Founded in 1996 when Bob Lauter and a group of investors acquired the spa division of Fort Wayne Pools, the company has grown into the world’s largest swim spa manufacturer and the largest hot tub manufacturer to produce 100% of its spas in the U.S. using both domestic and foreign components.

Operating from a 614,000-square-foot facility on a 45-acre campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana, MasterSpas continues to focus on innovation, quality American craftsmanship and programs to support its global dealer network.

As part of its 30-year milestone, the company has introduced a refreshed corporate identity and new logo.

“This anniversary is about more than longevity,” says Kevin Richards, president of MasterSpas. “It represents sustained growth, continued innovation and our commitment to American manufacturing. Our refreshed brand identity signals where we’re headed next.”

Recent product introductions, including the 30th Anniversary Special Edition hot tub and the latest evolution of the Signature Pro swim spa, reflect the company’s continued focus on hydrotherapy performance, energy efficiency and consumer demand for integrated wellness solutions.

Since 2010, MasterSpas’ collaboration with Michael Phelps has expanded the company’s performance-wellness portfolio, now including swim spas, cold tubs and saunas — positioning the brand within the growing recovery and at-home wellness market.
