Olympic Hot Tub Marks 10th Annual Honoring Heroes Event
Olympic Hot Tub is marking the 10th anniversary of its Honoring Heroes event with a partnership supporting the King County Search and Rescue Association.
The annual initiative recognizes individuals and organizations serving communities in western Washington and has raised over $223,000 for regional nonprofits since its launch.
This year’s event will benefit KCSARA, a volunteer-based organization that provides search and rescue services across Washington state.
“Partnering with King County Search and Rescue Association allows us to honor a group of unsung heroes whose bravery and dedication often go unnoticed,” says Don Riling, president of Olympic Hot Tub.
Carrie Lee Gagnon, executive director of KCSARA, said the partnership helps support volunteers who respond to emergencies throughout the region.
“Our member units are comprised of unpaid professionals — your neighbors, coworkers and friends — who step away from their own lives at a moment’s notice to save others,” Gagnon says.
As part of the initiative, Olympic will donate a portion of proceeds from Hot Spring Spa, Endless Pool and Tylo Sauna purchases made between April 1-30, with a goal of raising at least $18,000. For more information, visit olympichottub.com.
