Born and raised in Udine, Italy, Emiliano Freschi has built an international career that spans some of Europe’s most vibrant spa markets. Fluent in four languages, Freschi’s path took him from managing a hospitality venue in the Netherlands to joining the hot tub industry in 2018 as an account manager at Fonteyn Outdoor Living Mall — one of the world’s largest hot tub showrooms. There, he managed B2C retail sales alongside expanding B2B sales across Italy, Belgium, the U.K. and Poland.

In 2021, Freschi moved to Wellis Magyarország as European export manager. The following year, he set a global sales record for Wellis. 

His career hasn’t always been smooth sailing. The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented demand at Fonteyn, where he and colleagues regularly worked over 70 hours a week to support dealers and retail customers simultaneously. Then the war in Ukraine sent energy costs soaring, forcing Wellis to pivot quickly from direct sales to expanding its dealership network through extensive travel and outreach. “Despite the difficult circumstances, that year turned out to be a record-breaking one for Wellis in terms of global units sold,” he says.

This February, Freschi joined Bullfrog Spas — a brand he admired for its premium quality, innovative JetPak Therapy System and award-winning design. “For years, I saw Bullfrog Spas as the benchmark in the industry, manufacturing the most beautiful and intelligently designed hot tubs,” Freschi says. “Being invited to represent such a brand felt like the realization of a dream.”

Freschi is passionate about connecting with dealers from different cultures who share a zeal for promoting hot tub culture and hydrotherapy. “Being part of that global network and seeing the positive impact we bring to people’s lives is truly the most rewarding part of my work,” he says.

Freschi is committed to making Bullfrog’s JetPak Therapy System a household name across Europe. “The quality, design, insulation and hydrotherapy experience that Bullfrog Spas offers are on a completely different level,” he says. “It’s a mission I’m fully committed to.”

He hopes to foster healthier, more respectful competition in the industry. “I’d like to see a shift toward professionalism, respect and long-term value in everything we do,” Freschi says.

Outside of work, Freschi enjoys family life with his partner Bianka, their two sons, Thomas and Alexander, and their cane corso breed dog, Roma. Cooking is his favorite way to relax and care for those he loves, and the family often attends rock and blues music festivals across Europe.
