Plaskolite Names Jud Gibson Chief Commercial Officer

Plaskolite, LLC, a global manufacturer of engineering thermoplastics, announced the appointment of Jud Gibson as chief commercial officer, effective March 3. Gibson brings over 25 years of experience in the plastics industry, most recently leading global sales, marketing and customer development for DSM Engineering Materials. 

Before joining DSM in 2016, Gibson led the Americas automotive commercial and application development team for SABIC Innovative Plastics. Previously, at GE Plastics, he served in increasingly senior leadership roles before the company’s acquisition by SABIC in 2007. Gibson earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati and completed the Wharton School of Business Executive Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania. 

At Plaskolite, Gibson takes over for John Szlag, who is retiring this year after nearly 40 years.
