Master Spas, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, considers its mission to “help people live life better.” It has been involved in corporate giving and volunteering for years to support this mission, but in 2021, the company established its Master Spas Cares program.
Before launching the program, Master Spas and its dealer network were supporting the Naz Children’s Centre in Jamaica as well as other national and local organizations. The Master Spas Cares program built upon that foundation and committed to supporting charity partners including the Lupus Foundation of America, Michael Phelps Foundation, Michael J. Fox Foundation, Tunnels to Towers Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
In February of 2023, Master Spas furthered their support of St. Jude’s by participating in the Warburton Golf Tournament, an annual event bringing together celebrities, professional athletes and top-tier golfers to raise awareness and funds for the hospital through a golf tournament, auction and other activities. At the tournament, Master Spas donated an H2X Trainer 15 swim spa to the auction and presented St. Jude with a donation. In addition, Master Spas donated a Michael Phelps Legend Series hot tub for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway raffle. This year’s four-day event raised more than $4.7 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Warburton is the highest-grossing tournament for St. Jude, raising more than $26.5 million since it began 13 years ago.

Master Spas participates in charitable giving because it allows the company to work toward the greater good and support organizations with similar values. It looks to support organizations with a small percentage — less than 20% — of funds going toward overhead expenses. St. Jude directs 81% of donated funds into programs that provide cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance at no cost to families.
“St. Jude’s mission is to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment,” says Kimberly Truesdell, content creator for Master Spas. “St. Jude helps give these young ones the opportunity to live life better and have a better future. But it also helps their parents live life better as they have one less thing to worry about during that difficult time.”
Master Spas says most of its dealers participate in the Master Spas Cares program, whether donating a portion of each swim spa sold or making one-time donations. This participation aligns with one of its corporate values — doing the right thing — in partnership with employees, the community and its customers.
