Chantal Stoll’s territory has changed several times since she entered the hot tub industry, but the common thread has been the relationships she has built within each one.

Stoll joined Nordic Hot Tubs in 2018, initially representing the brand from New York through Virginia. A year later, her territory shifted closer to home and stretched from Michigan to Tennessee.

Then came another expansion. In 2024, Stoll added Marquis and Artesian to her responsibilities. Today, she represents Marquis and Nordic in Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania, Virginia and Hawaii, while carrying all three May Manufacturing brands in Kentucky and West Virginia.

“My favorite part about the hot tub industry is the people,” Stoll says. “Working in different territories and representing multiple brands has given me the opportunity to meet many incredible individuals and build lasting connections.”

The opportunity to take on additional brands is an accomplishment Stoll is proud of. Each has its own history, dealer network and identity, requiring her to broaden her product knowledge while understanding what individual dealers need from their manufacturer representative.

Her career has also coincided with dramatic changes in the market. Before, during and after the pandemic, Stoll watched demand, lead times and business conditions shift rapidly. Rather than try to understand those changes solely from the manufacturer level, Nordic relied heavily on feedback from its dealer network.

That reinforced for Stoll how valuable strong manufacturer-dealer communication can be when neither side knows exactly what the market will do next.

Now, she wants to keep expanding her knowledge and taking on opportunities while remaining useful to the businesses she represents.

Stoll also hopes to see more women get those opportunities.

“I am always impressed by how women shape and strengthen the retail space, and I believe there is an opportunity to further improve representation,” she says.

When she isn’t visiting dealers, Stoll enjoys hiking, reading and traveling. She makes a point of visiting sports stadiums in new cities and has attended games across the country. Her loyalties, however, remain firmly in Michigan: Stoll is a Detroit sports fan, with a particular affinity for Tigers baseball.
